I have been really feeling the need to journal. I've somehow managed to get my creative juices flowing and I've been itching to do something with it. Elizabeth got me this book called The 52 Lists Project: A Year of Weekly Journaling Inspiration. I have yet to use it but have been thinking about it recently in hopes of starting. I hate the thought of starting from almost the end of the book (because we're in week 42/52) but I thought instead of writing out what that page from that week says.

Take action: This week, challenge yourself to take a few hours or a whole day completely away from technology to instead do something by yourself that makes you feel calm and at peace. Come back and write about everything you felt and experienced.

Adoration
Listening to music
Drinking something cozy
Being outside
Going for a short walk
Doing something crafty
Reading a book
Napping
Watching a show
I'm not sure I'll have enough time this week to be able to truly disconnect as it's Thursday and I have bible study tonight and will be busy this weekend. But I have to finish up our Halloween costumes anyway so I will try and do something crafty for a few hours tomorrow night.
